migrating blog to new host and swipe theme is showing zero comments for a post when I know...

migrating blog to new host and swipe theme is showing zero comments for a post (all were facebook comments) when I know there are 10 for a given post. Are these stored somewhere outside of the theme/wordpress? Could this be because I am testing via a temporary url as I have not moved my domain name over to the new host?

Hi Bryan,

That is correct, Facebook comments are handled 100% by Facebook itself and are not stored inside of WordPress. Since FB uses the URL of the current page to determine which comments to show (if any), if you are using a temporary URL or have changed the URL of the post/page that the comments were originally made on, it will not show the previous comments since FB views it at a different post/page.
