I have some blogsposts I'd like to place, but I don't need them to be seen on the blog page together with the other posts (I do already know how to exclude posts from showing up on the Flux home page).
What is the easiest way to not display these posts? I've read somewhere about editing the functions.php with a bit of code to exclude certain category id's.
Currently there isn’t a built-in way to exclude categories on the blog, aside from using the built in WordPress post statuses i.e. draft/private/protected etc. We’re just finishing up the 1.2 release of Flux and I’ll see if we can squeeze that into the release or not. It’s not advisable to modify the theme files since anytime the theme is updated all of the theme files are overwritten with the new version, and putting anything in the functions.php file will likely break the theme since we have heavily modified WordPress’ default theme structure.
