The website on my mobile device isn't scaled to fit. I was checking it from the iphone. The Bold theme said :
Bold has been crafted to serve an optimized version of the theme to visitors on tablet and mobile devices. Optimized for iPad and iPhone.
I am just not sure how to make it look "normal" on a mobile device. The menu bar on top is just a solid color. The only reason i knew something was there is because i just clicked on it, otherwise i would not have know that was the menu. I tried changing it so i could see those 3 little lines that are in the corner to show there was a drop down menu, but i can't figure out how to change it. My header also doesnt fit the mobile device screen. Do I need to change the pixel width, or does that not matter, should it just scale on its own?
The mobile menu icon not showing was a bug in Bold that was fixed in version 2.0.2. To make sure you have the most recent version on your site, go to the My Account section of our website and download the .zip file again. Log in to your site and activate a different theme in Appearance→Themes and then click the ‘Delete’ link that will show under the Bold theme once another theme is enabled. You can then upload the .zip file you downloaded and activate it just like you did initially. Don’t worry about losing any of your customizations/settings, as they are stored in the database and are safe. Soon we’ll be reactivating our auto-update server and you’ll be able to update the theme right inside your WordPress Updates section just like other themes and plugins.
As to the header you’re referring to, could you post a link to your site so we can take a look to see what is happening?
We’ve updated your account and you should be able to download it again. An update to our store that we applied recently incorrectly assigned expiration dates to downloads on some orders. Let us know if you have any other questions.
When checking your site on a mobile device it seems that all of the icons are showing properly, and the stylesheet is pointing to the correct icon file. The issue might’ve been that your mobile browser was trying to load a cached version of the stylesheet that was linking to the old image, refreshing the mobile browser on the affected pages, in most cases should solve the issue, though in some cases you might have to refresh a couple times. Let us know if you’re still having issues after trying that.
